My sister'south automobile kept prompting her to purchase WinZip because information technology's 90 day demo had expired.   She did not desire to pay, so she just did not bother.  When she told me she was going to get an i-product auto because they did non accept problems, I had to assist her. I told her the PC she had purchased probably had a demo winzip installed.  All she had to exercise was uninstall information technology and then just using windows functionality she could open view and extract .aught files. But install 7zip or WinRar, if this is not working so it'southward all-time to insert your Vista cd and fix the eror (retrieve that this is usually not working with legal version). If it doesn't piece of work you shold probably buy windows 7 :)

Shawn, every bit Mike mentioned, Windows has an inbuilt tool called WinZip to open and extract .zip archive files. Still, I give a thumbs up for 7-Cypher. It can manage many more archive file types than WinZip. Permit united states know if you were able to open your .zip file with the assist provided higher up. Thank yous!

You should be able to open and excerpt .cipher files directly from within Vista. However, there is an consequence that can crusade this feature not to function properly.
